Sherbrook Primary School

Red 5 Class

Welcome to Red 5. We are a lower key stage 2 class. Our teacher is Sally. Our Teaching Assistant is Kat. Our ISA's are Sally-Ann and Natasha.

What we have been learning in Summer 1:

This half term our topic has been ‘Incredible India’.

In English, we have done lots of activities related to India. We have read a book about tigers, written lots of facts about them, used our imagination to add to a story and worked very hard to make a non-fiction booklet to organise facts about tigers.

In Maths, we have been learning to name a position or place of something using ordinal numbers. We also have lots of fun learning to compare the weight of objects and to measure weight using grams.

On Monday 23rd May we had our Parental engagement. Lots of parents came and we all had fun completing activities related to the Queen’s Jubilee.

We have also enjoyed our Forest School sessions, where we have been decorating eggs for Zog and making nests. We very much enjoyed collecting nectar and making bees from natural resources.
