Additional Support

Context: Staffordshire County Council has received funding through the Department for
Work and Pensions Household Support Fund. This funding is limited and must be used in this
funding period of 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2025 to support households with essential
costs.

This fund is seeking to provide families of children who meet the eligibility criteria listed below,
eVouchers for the school holidays during the financial period of 1st October 2024 to 31st March
2025. Each child will receive 1 x £20.00 eVoucher per child for: -
- Autumn Half Term 2024
- Winter Holidays 2024 to compliment the provision facilitated under the Holiday
Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.
- Spring Half Term 2025
The eVouchers are to be sent direct to each child’s family by the Family Hub Team

Eligibility Criteria
The child needs to attend an education setting within Staffordshire during the term prior to
the holiday in reception to year 11 and meet one of the criteria listed below.

1. Any child in receipt of a benefits-related Free School Meals

We will use the email address already held at the school.
If you wish to update this, please let the office know as a matter of urgency, so that vouchers can be issued.

Please note: If families have children in different schools, please note they may receive their vouchers on different days.   

October 2024 Half Term: The £20 e-voucher will be released on a staggered basis starting from 21^st to 25^th October 2024.     

Vouchers must be redeemed by 29^th November 2024, or the funds will be reallocated to the Household Support Fund.

Christmas Holiday: The £20 e-voucher will be released on a staggered basis starting from 16^th to 20^th December 2024.  

Vouchers must be redeemed by 24^th January 2025, or the funds will be reallocated to the Household Support Fund.

Spring 2025 Half Term: The £20 e-voucher will be released on a staggered basis starting from 10^th to 14^th February 2025.     

Vouchers must be redeemed by 14^th March 2025, or the funds will be reallocated to the Household Support Fund.
